Joe Biden's Withdrawal from the Democratic Nomination

Another historic headline wrote itself today as Joe Biden announced his declination of the Democratic nomination, denying himself a second term as President. Biden has been in obvious decline for many years, which the entire Democratic elite and media was aware of, though refused to acknowledge the fact publicly until his dismal debate performance just three (very long) weeks ago.

While I believe this was the right decision for Biden as an elderly man experiencing senility, this should have been decided long before millions of Democratic primary voters cast their ballot. I find it ironic the party of so-called "Democracy" is so willing to deny their voters legitimacy and sidestep them simply because they're losing at the last minute. Furthermore, if Joe Biden is not fit to run, he is certainly not fit to serve and should resign the office immediately.

Whomever the choose to replace Biden—Harris or otherwise—we cannot let that distract the American people from the horrible failures of the last four years, for which Harris is just as responsible, nor can we let that steal our focus from electing Republicans up and down the ballot this November. We cannot afford another moment of unfettered Democratic rule at any level of government.
